For this second iteration of Pantone Perfect, we faithfully reproduced the 52 hues of blues from Saussure's Cyanometre as flags.

Following the same process as the first Pantone Perfect installation, each hour through the duration of the project the colour of the sky was measured with a specially created software, automatically selecting the closest blue at that moment. The matching flag was then selected and hoisted onto one of the ten sequential flagpoles, one per hour of daylight.
